THE OTFORD VILLAGE FETE 2025 - ART COMPETITION


For the 2025 Fete, to coincide with our theme commemorating the “200th Anniversary of the Modern Railway” we are running a competition to design the fete poster (you can see some examples of previous fete posters below)


how do i enter?

We’d like contestants to send us a drawing to acknowledge this amazing event, highlighting some of the railway related changes over the past 200 years. You can learn more about the 200th Anniversary by visiting the official website Railway 200 website HERE

The winning design will appear on the Otford Village Fete website, on posters around the village and across our social media platforms.

The winning design will be the property of the Otford Village Fete Committee.

Prizes

The person whose drawing is selected to promote our Village Fete will receive a £30 gift voucher.

Runner-up Prizes

A £10 voucher for the runner-up in each of the following age groups:

  • Age 6 years and under

  • Age 7 - 10

  • Age 11-15

  • Age 16+

We received so many wonderful entries for our 2024 competition. It was a really hard job choosing just one winner so in the end we chose FOUR! Congratulations to Sophie from Russell House School and Siena, Olivia and Erin from St Michael’s Prep School who all did a fantastic job as you can see from the poster below. Well done to all four of you!
